Section 1. Be it enacted by the coun
cil of the City of Pickens, S. C., that
from and after the passing of this or
dinance it shall be unlawful for any
person, firm, corporation or company,
save common carrier, to ship, transport.,
convey, receive or have in his, her, its
or their possession more than one gallon
of any intoxicating liquors or beverages
within any calendar month within the
City of Pickens, South Carolina.
Seection 2. It shall be unlawful for any
intoxicating liquors or beverages to be
stored or kept in any place of business
or clibroom or any kind of a building
not uised as a home or private room of
the person or persons owning same,
whether it be for personal use or other
Section 3. It shall be unlawful for
any railroad company, express company
or other connon carrier to deliver any
package containing intoxicating liquors
or beverages containing more than one
per tent of alcohol to any person other
than the consignee or for any person to
obtain any such package under false or
