Hiawatha Now Open
The Hiawatha hotel opened last k ri
day under new management. William
H. Harris and associates will conduct
the hotel in the future. The Hiawatha
is now ready to accommodate summer
boarders and-, we see no reason why a
hotel like the Hiawatha in a town like
Pickens should not be full and running
over with summer boarders the whole
summer long. Climate and water un

quitoes. With proper advertising Pick
ens can be filled with people every

We can easily believe the part about

is found who can speak one.
But the fourteen dollars-that is prob
ably a fairy tale. Wherever did any
South Carolina editor get as much as
fourteen dollars at one time?
