After a brief respite from farm work
the farmers have had to again get busy
to save their fodder and hay, which is
badly burning up on account of the se

turniR crop will be almost a failure.

Central to Have Electric Lights
Liberty Gazette.
At an election held at Central last
Friday the $10,000 bond issue was car
ried by a vote of 84 to 1 in favor of is- ~
suing the bonds.
It is understood that the power will
be bought from the Li erty Light and
Power Company and a lne will be built
from Central to tdie power house at
Hunter's Mill on Twelve Mile river.
This will give Central a 24 hour current
which will mean much to the progres
sive little town. It is supposed that
work will begin immediately on the lines.
and it is hoped that it will only be a
short time before the lights will be in
operation, and that every public spirited
citizen's home in town will be turned
from darkness into light.
