THOS. P. MITCHALL DEAD.
Mr. Taos. P. Mitchell died at his
s home at Avon on Saturday morning

Sunday. Mr. Mitchell had been a
sufferer from heart disease for some

age, and leaves a wife and three chil.

N. C., Mrs. Jno. T. Chalmers and Mrs.
R. G. Brice, of Charlotte, N. C. Mr.
I Mitchell was one of the most promi
nent farmers in the county. IHe served
the county in the House of Represen
tatives in 1890-1894, and was a useful
citizen. He bad many friends over
the county, wbo will sincerely deplore
his death. He was a member of the
5th S. C. Regiment, Confederate States
