today, had it not been for that fine medicine, Cardui,"
writes Mrs. Laura Lawrence, of Drennon Springs, Ky.
"Nothing I tried helped my daughter, until she had
taken Cardui. I had sent for the doctor, when I thought
of your medicine and got a $1 bottle. When she had

MORE INFORMATION ABOUT OUR
/ SUNDAY SCHOOL QUESTIONS
We c?U the attention of our read
ers to the "Suggestive Questions on
the Sunday -School Lesson" In this
Issue. They only need to be read to
be appreciated, and If read carefully,
comparing the questions with the
Scripture upon which they are based,
they will not fall to impress the
reader with their great significance.
These questions are Inspiring ser
mons, addresses, and newspaper ar
ticles In hundreds of towns; they are
a stimulus and help to thousands of
Hihlo Class Teachers and students.
The man on the street reads and dis
cusses them with his chum; they are
read In the homes of the people and
afford Interesting subjects for profit
able discussion. Almost any one ques
tion will suggest as much thought to
the average reader, as would take a
newspaper column to express, and
the thought will be his own.
The questions are not dry tomes,
they are fresh, Interesting, and sug
gestive, and one can learn from them,
by way of suggestion, more than by
reading an entire magazine devoted
to the philosophy of every-day life.
These questions cover the all-round
needs of human nature, while they
are a wonderful help in elucidating,
and enforcing the Bible lesson upon
which they are based.
Don't fall to read them from lio^ff
on, and be ready to start In the aaey
Bible contest which Is to commence
in a few weeks, and thus you may

Joke on Policeman.
A Dublin eccentric a short time ago
entered a purveyor's shop and bought
a ham. Having paid for his purchase,
ho requested that it should be hung
outside the shop door, saying that he
would call back for It. The customer
then paced up and down outside tho
shop till a policeman cr.me in sight,
and just as the man In blue caught his
eye he grabbed the ham and bolted.
The constablo, however, soon collared
the thief, as he thought, and hauled
him back to the shop. Having ex
plained the nature of the allegec? crime
to the shop assistant, he asked the lat
ter to chargo the offender. "But," said
the assistant, as he realized the Joke,
