30 DAYS
Laurens, South Carolina
30 DAYS
FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 22nd TO TUESDAY, DECEMBER 24th.
A STATEMENT TO THE PUBLIC
?
Always being believers in quick sales and short profits, we find today that our quarters are too small and we
are carrying too large and varied a stock for the amount of space we haye. We find that we must do one of two
things: Either sell our stock in the lump or keep a good part of the same and offer the public goods next season
that have been on our shelves the previous year. After due consideration, we havs decided to sell our stock.
Now how to sell the stock was the question. We first decided to offer the stock to an out-of.town concern at 60c
on the dollar; but the question arose, what was the use of giving outsiders this wonderful bargain? Let the home
people have it. These people that give us their support from year to year. What is the matter with saving money
to our home people? We have determined to mark the goods for what they will bring, no matter how big the
sacrifice.
The motto of this sale?"Let the goods go for what they will bring, no matter what thesacrifice." Opportunities of this kind only come once in a
while and you who desire bargains of the most wonderful kind should not think of missing this bona fide liqudation Sale.
