Hyde was declared the nominee for
mayor of Charleston by a majority of
128 votes over the incumbent, John P.
-Grace, at the conclusion tonight of an
eight hour sitting or the city democrat
le executive coimittee, called togeth
er to canvass and publish the vote cast
in the Primlillary election held Tuesday.
