FATAL ACCIDENT SATURDAY
IN AU'TOMOBILE WRECK
Mrs. J. V. Gardner of Lydia Killed
Ten M1iles North of New berry. On
Way to Camp Sevier.
A hapily party of six, traveling in
a Ford car from Lydia, Darlington
countty, passed through Newberry
$aturday afternoon on their way to
Camp Sevier to see their soldier boys.
Tei miles north of here, on the New
berry-Lattrios highway, they met
with an accident that tuirned their
joy into 'nmourning. In the party
were .ir. and Mrs. J. C. G(ardiier anl
