Carbondale, 111., Aug. 5.-A photog

of the riot in West Frankfort tonight
was beaten to death by the mob, ac
cording to a message received here at
ithe Illinois Central office from the

Frankfort This is the first death re
ported from the outbreak there.
St. Louis, Aug. 5.-A mob of more

fort, Ill., threatening to drive out the
foreign population following the dis
covery yesterday of the bodies of
Amiel Calcaterra, 19, and Tony Heim
pel, 18, who had been murdered, ac
