that Gen. Ainsworth- held his
candidacy secondary to that of
the question of jointure, and
wished the people to . vote for
jointure. Gen. Ainsworth firmly
declared, in private conversation,
that he had very strong reasons
to believe that he would be Ari
zona's next delegate, to congress;
he will appreciate the votes of
the people. V -
