All Worn Out
The most humanizing or
ganized activites of war time
is the work of the Young
Men's Christian Associations,
in the training camps at home
overseas and in the prison
camps. Wherever our boys
are sent they wil1 find the
sign of the Red Jriangle, the
Army representative of this
wonderful organization on
hand to welcome them with
its tonic atmosphere of good
cheer, sociability and clean
living.
For splendid constructive
work this organization is car
rying on is almost beyond de:
scription. Any one of the
150,000 of our boys now on
the firing line in France and
the millions at home in the
training camps, would tell you
the same thing this Arizona
boy wrote to his folksat
home.
"I feel as if you ought to
know something of the work
of this life-saver, the Y.M.C.A.
Since the "Y" shack was
opened the dance-hall on
Houston Street are deserted.
You will recall when I first
landed here I wrote that we
had the best crap-shooters and
card sharks in the Army.
Well, that is a thing of the
past here. The old cry of
"Come Baby Joe" and "Stay
with me Phoebe" is no more.
The "Y" has the gang. Two
of them have become checker
fiends, one won' the dominoe
championship . and the other
two are playing on the basket
ball team and studying
French. '

A sword, broken and rusty,
but with -the hilt intact, said to
have been bathed in the waters
of the Pacific by Balboa centuries

ecutive and order of a sale, and
decree of foreclosure and sale,
issued out of the Superior Court

Babbitt Brothers, a Co-partnership,

B. Baca and his wife Mary Baca,
on the third day of October, 1917,
for the sum of Fifteen, hundred
dollars with interest theron from
March 1st, 1916, until paid, less
$110.62, plus an attorneys fee
computed by taking ten per cent
of the principal and interest due
at date of judgment amounting to
$162.69 in money of the United
States, l am commanded to sell
all that certain piece or parcel of
land, situate, lying and being in
the County of Apache, State of
Arizona, and bounded and de
scribed as follows: Two story
building located in Springerville,
Apache County, jon the east side
of road leading to Eagar and St.
Johns, together with stock of
good contained in said building;
said property being 88-5 feet
northwest corner, then east south
of road 104-5 feet, north-east
corner of this tract, then south
124-9 feet, then west l63-5 feet,
Bounded west by public street,
North by road, East by land of
E. J. Saffel, South by land now
occupied by Catholic Church;
Said premises are a part of Lot
37, Block 44of the town of
Springerville,. State of Arizona.
Public notice is hereby given
that on the 26th day of Novem
ber, 1917, at two o'clOck P. M.
of that day, in front of the Court
House door of the County of
Apache, Arizona, I will in obedi
ence to said order of sale and de
cree of foreclosure and sale, sell
the above described property, or
so much thereof as may be neces-.
sary to satisfy said judgment,
with interest and costs, etc., to
the highest and best bidder for
