Fresh Ranch Butter trora tbt ranch ot J
U Vlrlte tVlcotf. ih Store. 3-7U
Judging from the toUl lack of news
from Fhenix we arc led to believe that
Ihesolons have not yet recovered from
the effects of the banquet.
Thk many rich strikes in thisncigli
lorhood should stimulate these who
own property to go to work on it nnd
lo something or lease it to some one
who will work it. Our mining law- is
deficient in allowing that dog-in-the-manger
spirit to exist. It should be
remedied.
The banquet at Fhenix was a most
gratifjiug success. Col. Herring re
sponded to the toast "The Territory of
Arizona." The Herald of that city, in
speaking of this effort on the part of
colonel, says : " ' The Territory of
Arizona' was next announced and re
plied to by Col. Herring, of Tomb
stone, in an extempore speech full of
vigor, lire and eloquence. A speech
which to our mind was the speech of
the evening. We regret that wears
unable to gte it place here verbatim,
NOTICE.
To all whom it may concern :
Please take notice that I, "William
Exton, have th day severed all
business connections with Frank
Vaughn as partner, and that I will
not be- responsible for any debts
which the said Frank Vaughn
may contrast from this date hence
forth, nor will I pay any part of
the saihe.
