tic Midgets" Yesterday Afternoon.
The matineo performance of "The
Myatlo Midgeta" at the Academy yes?
terday afternoon, while only fairly woll
attended, again evidenced not only
the sterling merit of tbla delightful
fairy operetta, but the latent talent
possessed by the Boanoke children who
participated in its production.
Henry Gray, as the Prlnoe, again
charmed his audience with bla beautiful
voice and dignified, intelligent acting;
and Nannie Nicholson aa the Queen,
once more woe the hearts of thoae who
witnessed ber charming impersonation.
John Weedon, as tbe Chinaman, and
Mark Gray and Heary Moaoly aa the
two little coons, again created a furore
by their very clever work.
Little Fannie Davis aB Psycho sang
beautifully, and spoke her linos intelli?
One of tho most attraoiive features of
the entertainment was tbe akirt dance
niven by little Willie Hart. She was
tho embodiment of graceful action, and
showed rare talent for so yonng a child.
