To Hie Northwest and tho Far West No highway of travel has received more flattering notices from the public than the .Chicago, Milwaukee and St Paul Railway, the pioneer short line and the popular route to tho Northwest and the Far West. Whether one's Mecca be Omaha, St. Paul, Minneap olis or Dakota, on the dfTeient branches of this much traveled thoroughfare, or even if one's destination be to points still more re mote it presents, without a doubt the great est advantages to the traveler 111 his west ward course. Apart from its excellent road bed, its fine coaches' ad the grand scenery . through which it passes, its dining cars and service are probably the most sumptous of any railroad in the world. Indeed, the west crn lines, and.notably the Chicago, Milwau kee and St. Paul, fairly lead their eastern ri vals in the matter of comforts administered to their passengers. So that with statitics to show one's life is safer in the av;rage railway train than when sitting in one's home or when attending to one's legitimate business, the traveler who places himself under the guardianship of a well regulated railway may prosecute his journey with a feelihg of se curity and comtort as great a9 when reclining ju nis armcnair amia m own tares ei filiates. V. II. Carpenter. General Passenger Agent, iuilwaukeee. Wis. AN EXTRAORDINARY OFFER, to all wanting employment. We want Live, Energetic and Capable Agents in every county in the United States and Canada, to sell a patent article of great merit, on irs merits. An article having a large sale, paying over loo per cent, profit, having no competition, and on which the agent is protected in the exclusive sale by a deed given for each and every county he may secure from us. With all these advantages to our agents, and the fact that it is an article that can be sold o every houseowner, it might not be necessary to make an "extra ok din a ky offer" to secure good Bgcnts at once, but we have concluded to make it to show, not only our confidence in the merits of our invention, but in its salability by any agent that will handle it with energy. Our agents now at work are making from $150 to $600 a month clear, and this fact makes it safe for us to make our offer to all who are out of employment. Any agent who will give our buisness a thirty days trial and fail to cicar at least $100 in this time, above all EXPENhES can return all goods unsold to us and we will refund the money paid for them. Any agent or General Agent who would like ten or more counties and work them through sub-agents for ninety days, and fail to clear at least $j'o above all expenses, can return all unsold and get their money back. No other employer ot agents ever dared to make suck offers, nor would we if we did not know that we have agents now making more than double the amount we guarranteed, and but two sales a day would give a profit of over $I2JJ a month, and that one of our agents took eighteen orders In one day. Our large descriptive circulars explain our offer fully, and these we wish to send to every one out of employment who will send us three one cent stamps for postage. Send at once and secure the agency in time for the boom, and go to work on the terms named in our extraordinary offer. We would like to have the address of all the agents, sewing machine solicitors and car penters in the country, and ask any readers of this paper who reads this offVr. Address at once, or you will loose the best chance ever offered to those out of employment to make money. ItKNNnt Manufacturing Co . 161 Smithfield St., Tittsburg, Ta. General Graham, whose recent vict ories in the Sudan have made him famous, was a resident in Montreal about eighteen years ago, and was then district commanding engineer under Colonel Ford, R. E. The treatment of Rheumatism and Neuralgia through the blood, by the expulsion of the poisonous acids there trom, has brought relief and cure in those supposably incurable cases known as chronic, and where age was said to defy ordinary treatment. Mr. V L. Seymour, of Williston, -Vt., writes: "Send three bottles of Ath lophoroa as soon as this is received. My father, aged 87, has for weeks been badly affected with Rheumatism. We feel that we are doing the public favor in calling their attention particularly to Hood's Sarsaparilla. 1 his is not a patent medicine, but a propietary article, possessing real curative properties, and its effects up on the blood are very postive. Spring Debility, Biliousness, Dyspepsia and all troubles caused by impure blood readily yiela to this excellent medicine. We think those who give it a trial for that "out of sorts" feeling from which so many suffer and which is peculiar to this season, will be quite .satisfied with tbe results. Herbert Spencer sas, that a man's convers.ition is a sure index to his mental c ip.icit v : we therefore account for the numerous flattering cominen daiiuns, made by out most learned men of the merits of Dr. Bull' Cough Syrup. One of the highest bears in Wall st. wired a friend in Chicago: ''The coal stocks look to me as if they were on the way to much lower prices."
