PLAN OF THE LOTTERY.
The Numbers from 1 to 80,000, corresponding with those
Numbers on the Tickets printed on separate slips of paper.
are encircled with small tin tubes and placed in one Wheel.
The first 257 Prizes, similarly printed and encircled, are
plaerd in another Wheel.
Tbe wheels are then revolved, and a number Is drawn
from the Wheel nf Numbers, and at the same time a prize
is drawn from the other wheel. The Number and Prize
drawn out are opened and exhibited to the audience, and
registered by the Commissioners; the Prize being placed
against the Number drawn. This operation is repeated
until all the prizes are drawn out.
APPROXIMATION PRIZES.
f"The two preceding and two succeeding Nurrhers to those
drawing the first 12 Prizes will be entitled to the -IS Approx
imation Prizes. For example: if Ticket No. 1'25 draws
the to" 000 prii, those tickets numbered 1124. 11249.

The 3,000 Prize of 20 will be determined by the
ast figure of the Number that draws the 60.000 Prize.
For example, if the Numher drawing the 16'i.opo Prize ends
with No. 1, then all the Tickets where the number ends in
1 will be entitled to $20. If the Number ends with No 2,
then all the Tickets where the Number ends with 2 will be
entitled to 20, and so on to 0.
