ARCHITECTS AND BUILDERS should not fail to
examine this limiting, a it is better and cheaper than any
thinirin ue. The material forms a hard and smooth far
face that will resist the action of the atmosphere in eery
climate. It la impervious to water, elastic, and flexible.
It contracts and expands wph the changes of thea'mos
phere, and will neither vaporate, crack nor rot; and, as to
its dumhilpy, there is nn question.
It Is practically Imperishable, and will perf-iCfnlly resist
any ordinary external exposure to 6 re, as Is abundantly
proved, an-i we will warrant it w-tter-proof. We will en-R-ige
to pat our Rooting on over ordinary good sheathing,
old shn 'lei, tar nd gravel, t'n, sine, cornier, or iron ronfs
it making no difference how s'.-ep or flt ihey may be
for seven do'lars p-r one hundred square feet; it beinz far
cheaper than anv Riif of the oi l style, and we are sure it
will .ive better satisfaction.
It ;il also be found to be the bet rMig ever invented to
cover or mend o'd leaky tin, tar an I ((ravel roofs, or around
cbimnevs, scuttle', dormar windows, and gutters, here the
tin is ru-t-d through. ThU Cement can he put on to lat
as Icng a stone, snd form a perfect adheiion to any ob
ject to which it is applittd. Tin Hoofs can be painted over
(and warranted not to leek) at two d liars and fiftv cents
per hundred square feet, which is cheaper and mu:h bet
teir than paint. This Roofing w.ll be found to be the hett
theng for covering larir Hoof where thev are e xposed to
flr such as S earn Mills, Paw Mi Is, factories. Railroad
Cars, Knit Res, Depots, Maiion nouses. SteaTit-o tt becks,
and, in fact, ev, ry kind oi Roof where there is an external
exposure from C re. As th Rrof in perfect, without a joint
in it, it presents n chance fur fire to communicate, and any
light subitance will burn out without igniting.
Insurance Ollices at Cincinnati, snd other placM
where Childs A Co.'s Cenent has been used, insure build
in if a with Roofs onvt red ith this Cement, at the same
rates as for those covered with Iron, Copper or Tin
1P The Cement will be furnished to those at a distance
with directions for using.
Pty Orders rent to the undersigned, through the Post
Office, will be promptly attended to

Having mane considerable inquiry as lo the merits ot the
