(SEAL) cral Aid Project, Ho. 41, has made it possible to use a shorter bridge than planned and Whereas, by making the change to a shorter bridge n considerable sav ing on this job can be secured to Bryan County, nnd; Whereas, the steel for the original bridge planned at Sulphur Creek has already been fabricated and is now at the railroad station at Benning ton, Oklahoma, and, Whereas, to secure the above mentioned saving to Bryan County by the use of a shorter bridge, it is necessnry that Bryan County purchaso the bridge already shipped to Bennington. Oklahoma, and. Whereas this bridge can be purchased nt a bargain price and used to great advantage too another place in the county. Therefore, Be it resolved, by the Board of County Commissioners of Bryan County, that providing the change to n shorter bridge nt Sulphur Creek can be ecured with the approval of tho State- Highway Department nnd Bureau of Public Roads, that Bryan County, will approve said shango and purchase the bridge now at Bennington, nt an additional cost to tho county not to exceed $715.00 over nnd above the saving effected on bridge over Sulphur Creek for said bridge delivered where it is now located at Bennington, Oklnhnmn. Wo the undersigned appraisers, wi-h to advise that we have personally inspected the property of W. F. Stephenson, and Mrs. Seeley, located just north of Durant. with the purpose of determining any damage sustained by said property by reason of the good road having been .built adjoining said premises. On nccount of there being no section line marks or stakes, we are un able to determine how much land has been taken by the rond from the premises of Mr. Stephenson nnd Mrs. Seeley.
