Trustees present, JSeecher, Wallace, Wharton, High and Griswold. Minutes of last regular and inter vening special meetings read and ap proved. Petition of Geo. A. Mann and others for sidewalk on south s'ulo of North street received and read. Petition of C. Andreao & Sons and others for sidewalk from Andreao St. north, east on south side of First street to F. &. P. M.K. 11. right of way thence along south sido of said right of way to Main street, received and read. Moved by Wallace and supported by Peedier that the Street Commissioner be instructed to build a sidewalk 4 ft. wide from Main street along the south side of F. & 1'. M. P. 11. right of way to the intersection of said right of way with First street. Carried. Moved by Wallace and supported by Wharton that a sidewalk 4 feetwido bo ordered built on the south side of First street from Andreao street north, east to the intersection of First street with F. it P. M. K. P. right of way, and that clerk give owners of abutting property to said sidewalk o days notice to build said walk. Carried. He has been placed on the mail route between Saginaw and Port Huron, taking the place of the old gentleman who resigned lately. Austin will now be nearer homo and have day instead of night work. Lute McDonald, after a few weeks rather interesting experiences in flie wild and wooly west, returned home to tho bosom of his family and friends in Y'alo Tuesday of this week. Luto pays the west is crowded with men and wages are no better than in Yale.
