The third meeting ot the Thumb Racing Circuit was held at Yale this week and turned out to be a hummer. The weather man was good and sched uled two ideal days. In consequence the attendance both days was large. On luesday, the, lirst day, there were three races all exciting and interesting. Wednesday lour classes were pulled off, and better exhibitions of speed, or more intense contests between the horsemen to win could not have been seen even at the iilue Ribbon meeting. Every heat was a race. Nearly titty horses were here, the largest and best bunch at any one meeting iu the history of this association. Ihe next meeting in this circuit will be at Cass City next week, Aug. VJ-2z. A better satisfied crowd of people never attended a race meeting in Vale, and many expressions were made that ( it was a big advertisement tor our little city. A large number of people were here who had never visiteu Vale before to take part in its entertainment and hospitality. ine association appreciates the sup port given by the business men and citizens.
