for tho Eugene Commercial Club,
The promotl6n department of the
Eugene Commercial club has been
reorganized since the first of the
year, under the management of D.
C. Freeman, and an aggressive cam
paign along practical lines will bo
waged to disseminate dependable
and Intertcstlng information about
the southermost end of the Willam

trated matter upon tho growth and
development of Lane county to be
gotten out as soon as possible, will
deal with matters pf as great Inter

largo as the Industries of the county
seat. The publicity work, it is an
nounced, will be on broader lines,
tending to weld city and countyintor
ests into one unanimous force, for
the better welfare of all; on the
basis that what helps the country
helps tho city, also to stimulate an
educational propaganda of how to
make agricultural pursuits pay, im
proved conditions, productions and
profits of the orchardist; dairyman,
rancher and stockman.
The Board 01 Governors wish it
emphatically understood that the
promotion department has not hung
out the sign on publicity operations
as inadvertently or otherwise, the
last issue of Mr. Hartog's magazine

A Trial Package of Stuart' Dyspep

Man inhabits every part of the
globe where external influences can
bo successfully resisted. Food is an
important element in effecting this,
and nature has provided for it ac
cordingly. Tho colder tho climate tho
more animal food and oily sub
stances nre" required; the warmer tho
preponderance of vegetables and
fruits is necessary In one's diet.
The whalo-blubber of tho fur-clad
Eskimo, and tho rice of the nude Af
rican, are as much necessities of lo
cality, as matters of choice. Tho
same indications exist in civilization.
Thus the diet of America and Eng
land are essentially different from
that in Italy, Spain and Egypt.
The effects of universal communi
cation are nowhere moro obvious
than on the luxurious table. To fur
nish tho refined cuslne, all climates,
both sea and land, are laid under
contribution, and the stomach is ex
pected to digest, without assistance,
everything that is put into it. Com
bining together such varied products,
and the neglect of tho relation be
tween climate and foods are very ac
tive causes of dyspepsia.
Tho heavy substantial dishes of
this "climate accord badly with the
thermometer at 90 degreees; and an
inflexibility in regulating tho kind and
quantity of food is a cause of a large
proportion of the ill health and
stomach troubles among tho Eng
lish and Americans.
Thousands of people Who have suf
fered from stomach troubles, and a
general ill-health resulting thorefromt
because of a badly regulated diet,
and the ingesting of an excessive
amount of food at. the table, have
obtained speedy and permanent re
lief by means of a simple expedient
that of using one or two of STU'
ART'S DYSPEPSIA TABLETS after
each meal, or whenever any of the
woll-known symptoms of indigestion
These powerful digestive tablets
contain every element that exists in
the stomach to digest food,, and in
the exact proportion as found there
in. They 'take the place of the nat
ural digestive -juices when the latter
are deficient In quality or quantity,
and do their work for them, remov
ing the indigestion by digesting the'
food, and resting, strengthening and
purifying the digestive tract.
There Is no other digestive remedy
on the market which has been found
equal to Stuart's Dyspepsia Tablets;
none which is so rapidly and power
fully efficient, or which removes dis
comfort, banishes stomach pain and
relieves and cures all of tho symp
toms of dyspepsia and indigestion in
so thorough and pleasant a manner
as these marvelous little tablets, a
slnglo grain of which is capable of
digesting 3000 grains of any and ev
cry kind of food. "
All persons who are annoyed with
stomach troubles of any kind should
use Stuart's Dyspepsia Tablets which
will remove such troubles in a very
short time. Purchase a box from your
druggist, and send name and address
