and Tryphena Kirkham, to the Lombard
Investment Company upon lot number

Addition to J. O. Young'3 East Lincoln,
Lancaster County, Nebraska, to secure
the payment of a certain promissory note
with coupons attached, dated September
9, 1S39, for the sum of 8900.00 and duo
and payable on tho 1st day of Septem
ber, 1894; that there is now due upon
said noto and mortgage tho sum of
8927.00. with interest at 10 per cent
from September 1, 1893; tho further sum
of 327.00 with interest at 10 per cent
from March 1, 1894; the further sum of
3 for insurance, with interest at 10
per cent from the day of , 18;
the further sum of 342.50 for taxes, with
interest at 10 per cent from the day of
, 18; and the further sum of
330.00, for taxes, with inteiest at 10 per
cent from tho day of , 18 -, for
which sums, with interest from this
date, plaintiff prays for a decree that
defendants be required to pay the same,
or that said premises may be sold to sat
isfy the amount found due.
You are hereby notified that on said
19th day or November 1894, at 9 o'clock
in the forenoon or as soon thereafter as
I can be heard, I will apply, to the Dist
rict Court of Lancaster Couitfy, Nebr
aska, for the apiointment of a Receiver
of the property upon which the mort
gage is sought to be foreclosed in tho
above entitled action, for the reason
that the said property is probably in
sufficient to pay said indebtedness again
st it; that the said application will be
heard at the Court house in said county
at said time and will be based upon
affidavits of W. I. Fryer, J. T. Beach
et. al, and upon the notes and mortgages
outstanding against the said property.
I will propose the name of II. B. Saw
yer as Receiver, and will propose as sure
ty for ourselves as applicants and the
said Receiver, A. W. Field and J. B.
Cunningham at which time you can ap
pear and resist the appointment of said
Receiver if you so desire.

Notice is hereby given of the incor
poration under the laws of this state of
an association, tho name of which is
Harris &. Company, and the principal
place of transact inn of business of which
is at the city of Lincoln in Lancaster
County, Nebraska, and the general
nature of the business to be transacted
by which is the buying, selling, forward
ing of and general dealing in grain, the
buying, selling, owning, leasing and
operation of elevators, cribs and other
property, machinery and appliances
necessary or proper to bo owned, occu
pied or used in and about tho handling
of grain, and buying selling, owning, and
leasing of real estate, both improved and
unimproved.
Tho amount of the capital stock of
said incorporation is 3140,000, which was
fully paid in at the time of incorporation.
Tho time of the commencement of said
incorporation was the 25th day of Sep
tember, 1891, and the time of its termi
nation will be tho 25th day of Septem
ber, 1944, and tho highest amount of
indebtedness or liability to which said
cor juration can at any time subject it
self is 890,000. The affairs of said incor
poration are to bo conducted by a board
of four directors, who are required to
apoint from among their own number,
a president, and may also choose a vice
president. And they are also required
to appoint a secretary and treasurer,
which two last named otlices niav be
conferred upon the same person ;nnd the
president is to be also general manager
of the corporation.
. Tho articles of incorporation of said
association wore adopted on tho 25th
day of September, 1891, and were tiled
in tho office of the clerk of Lancaster
County, Nebraska, on the 26th day of
September, 1891,at 9 o'clock and 20 min
utes a. m., recorded in book C of Incor
porations at page 439.
