The writer spent a week recently in A rkadelphia. Ark., where the Metho dists had just had a very successful conference, and where the ltaptists were just opening one. The latter had an unprecedented attendance. All the rooms of Ouachita College were engaged before the opening, and it was necessary to solicit rooms in pri vate homes for the overflow.
