SPECIAL IMPORTATION OF Percheron and Shire Stallions GRANDEST SPECIMENS OF THESE BREEDS A carload just arrived, imported direct from France and England, and have been divided, part of the shipment being unloaded at Pendleton, and balance brought to Seattle. This shipment consists of 17 head of the finest horses ever brought to the West. They were selected in the old country by Joseph Watson, who was the judge of the English Royal Show, and also of heavy draft horses at the Chicago World's Fair; and he is considered one of the best judges of draft horses on either continent. These stallions average from 2 to 5 years old, and all are registered both in the old country and America. Their weight runs from 1700 to 2100 pounds.
