I 14 GOODWIN'S WEEKLY. H After November 15th, owing to the rapidly iri- H creasing business on the Los Angeles Limited, a H twelve section, eleqtric lighted sleeper will be H added to this train on the Salt Lake Route. This H wij.l be on the west bound train from' Salt Lake Hj totLos Angeles daily, and will be put on to take H care of the passenger! from the inter-mountain H region, as well as those from Colorado and the Hj northwest. M This innovation will meet a long felt want, as M it practically means the saving of twelve hours' H time for passengers from these statos. The road H is to be congratulated on this new departure. H e heard at the. Colonial Theatre, November 18th. H SONG. H By Brian Hooker. H Dear, though you wander over peace and passion, H Searching the days to prove yourself untrue, H You can not hide me. Still, in my own fashion, H I shall come back to you. H In other eyes, on lips that bid you doubt me, H In music, in the little things we knew, H In your blind prayers for happiness without me M I shall come back to you. H God keep you safe through all the ache of learn- H ins' H Through all the wrong you need to be and do, H Till in the wise joy of unfearful yearning H I shall come back I shall come back to you! H Harper's Monthly. B AN EPIGRAM AND AN AD. Hj Prof. Charles Zubelin, the brilliant and original Hj sociologist of the University of Chicago, enunci- H ated before the League of Political Education in H New York a superb epigram: H "He who begins with savingjirotect his WM family may end with neglectinlnlF family to Hj save." Discussing the dangers of immoderate s'avjng, Prof. Zubelin said the other day: "It's by saving immoderately that we come to inserting want advertisements like the one I saw recently 'Wanted, capable office boy; salary, $1 a week.' "A young man of Seminary avenue, noticing this advertisement, couldn't resist replying to it. His reply ran: " 'I beg to offer you my services. Should you require a premium I could furnish $500. You do not mention Sundays should I have to work on that day? Neither do you state whether the ap plicant must be clothed or not, but 1 have con cluded that he must at least wear trousers, or he would be unable to carry home his wages.' " Washington Star.
