The supporting company is good and tho production is full of action, while the stage effects show cosiderable originality here and there. Altogether if is one of the best shows tho Colonial has offered so far this fall. Those among the first nighterp who won dered the past two or three years if Chauncey Olcott had deserted the West may take a new lease on hope, for Mr. Olcott is once more booked for an appearance at the Theater. He comes the last half of next week, opening Thurs day evening in a new Irish play written for him this season, "Ragged Robin." It is safe to predict a welcome of no small warmth, for the star long ago sang his way into the hearts of those who love a little romance, a little love, some comedy, and heroism which alternates with Olcott's music. Mr. Olcott has had more or less success the past two or three sea sons with his new plays and "Ragged Robin" is said to be one of the best stories he has yet staged. Folk and fairy lore is interwoven with the plot and Mr. Olcott has. written most of the songs. "The Man of the Hour," Broadhurst's stirring play, comes back to town Monday even ing for the first half of the week at the Theater Those who saw the play in Its former presenta tions will remember a production worth seeing Baby Dolls in "The Sunny Side of Broadway."
