Meeting of the stockholders of Am erican Operatic Corporation will be held at its office, No. 206 Kearns building, Salt Lake City, Utah, at 7 p. m., Saturday, August 24, 1918, for the purpose of ratifying the proposed amendment to Article Six of the Ar ticles of Incorporation to read as fol lows: "The amount of the capital stock of this corporation shall be thirty thousand dollars of the par value of one dollar per share. Of said capital stock 15,000 shares Bhall be preferred stock and 15,000 shares shall be com mon stock. "Such preferred stock shall draw 7 per cent acumulative Interest from the date of issue, and all may be re tl sd on or after seven years from date of issue. From the earnings there shall be reserve fund created amounting to 14 2-7 per cent of the face value of the preferred stock each year for seven years after which the holders of any preferred stock may demand its retirement. Should the interest not bo earned in any one year such interest as well as the prin cipal shall be a preferred lion upon the assets of the corporation, in the I event of dissolution or liquidation. "It is understood and agreed that the common stock shall be issued to John T. Hand in consideration of that certain contract made with tho cor poration of even date herewith, whicfe ,1 said common stock shall be endorse, and returned to the treasury and be subject to reissuance to said Hand in I exact proportion to tho number of preferred stock shares issued. The company hereby approves and accepts the said Hand contract and agrees to issue to said John T. Hand the said common stock as above provided and as fully paid."
