The state live stock commission, in company with State Vetinarian Gerth, left Tuesday afternoon for Jackson, Ponca and Dakota City, points in Dakota county, to investi gate reported cases of glanders. There are a large number of com plaints being made to the commis sioners of this disease, and although they have been investigating cases and killing diseased animals for sev eral weeks, there are at" present eighty-one complaints pn file.
