The new engines will be adjusted
to burn Carbon coal and an effort
will be made to use that instead of
Rock springs.
Engine No. 1160 which has been
receiving an overhauling, will be
out of the shops tomorrow and be
turned over to the tender mercies
ot W. II. Fikes.
ICngiuc No. 1700 is iu the shops
for re-adjustment and some slight
repairs. All of the 1700 engines
will have to take their turn in the
shops for needed repairs.
Roy Vernon left this luornimr on
a ten days vacation trip which will
nc Hide a visit to Denver and var
ious other Colorado points. Roy is
a hard working young man and well
deserves his vacation.

iu Omaha. Mr. lledeudahl, who is
head of the air brake department,
has been spending several weeks

houses No. 3 and 4. A sliortaire of

for a few days In the icing business
