Treasurer's Office Moves
The treasurer's office of the Alaska
Central moved today from the old
buildii'tr to the new one. This was the
last of the railroad offices to transplant
itself. Delay in the arrival of fixtures
was she cause.
Thomas M. Lane Arrives.
. Thomas M. Lane, brother of Charles
D. Lane, arrived in Seward on the
Santa Ana. He came up to see the
Falls creek mines, in which he is in
terested w it li other Nome men.
Mrs. Anna C. Hlumer io-t a letter
vesterday which site had taken from
the postoffice. It was from her son
in Seattle and she had not opened it.

turning it to the post office.
Airent Drown of the Northwestern
Steamship Company received a mes
sage from Seattle today statin}}' that
the Oregon will sail for Sewaru itext
Monday. The Santa c lara will sail

ard dancing club will take place this
evening in Moore's hall.
Steamer Doca is expected from Wi
tless at any hour.
