Insurance not up to Date Winsted, Ct.—Jacob Weiner, a farm er of Nepaug, came here the other day to buy lire insurance. He insisted on there being a Hying machine clause in the policy. He said he had read how aviator Orville Wright had perfected the aeroplane, and lie thought there was as much danger of a Hying machine striking and wrecking his buildings as lightning, if aeronautics keep pace with the growth of automobiles. The farmer wanted a five-year policy, but when informed by James Smith, a justice of peace and fire in surance agent, that he was ahead of the most progressive insurance com panies, as they have not yet begun to insure against that class of risk, he said dejectedly: “Insure my buildings for one year only. Perhaps the in surance companies will be up-to-date by the time my policy expires.” The most convenient way of sending money away is by bank money order. We write them at the very lowest rate. * Bank of Seward. NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR U. S. PATENT No. 08. U. S. Land Office, Juneau, Alaska. July 8, 1908.
