Army Is In Need
Of More Women
The Women’s Army Corps has
made a tfemendous contribution to
'the Nation’s war effort. It is a
privilege to be a WAC! And now
. . . even as victory nears . . . the
need for more Wacs is greater than
ever before. The work which they
can do will bring the soldiers home
soon. Women can fulfill the debt
they owe to their country and its
fighting men by joining the Wo*
men’s Army Corps. Inquire at the
local Post Office July 16, Monday,
when Sgt. Carpi and Sgt. Kuhl will
be there to answer any questions
of those who are interested.

rain and hail was spread out over
an estimated path of from one to
one and a half miles. It was by

in that section in many years and
the damage to crops will not be
known until a more thorough
survey has been made.
