Christian Science Society ^Junday Service, 11 a. m. Wednesday, 8 p. m. Reading Room open every Tues day and Friday from 3 to 5 p. m. The public is cordially invited to attend our services and- visit our reading room. Subject Sunday: “Life.” “God” was the subject of the Lesson-Sermon in all Christian «cience Churches and Societies on unday, July 15. The Golden Text was from Psalms 103: 19. “The Lord hath prepared his throne in the heav ens: and his kingdom ruleth over all.” Among the citations which com prised the Lesson-Sermon were the following from the Bible: “After these things I heard a great voice of much people in (J|eaven, saying, Alleluia; Salvation, and glory, and honour, and power, unto the Lord our God: And a voice came out of the throne, saying. Praise our God, all ye his servants, and ye that fear him, both small and great. And I heard as it were the voice of a great multitude, and as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of mighty thunderings, saying, Alle luia, lor the Lord God omnipotent rAeigneth” (Revelations 19: 1, 5, 6). ^ The Lesson-Sermon also includ ed the following passages from the Christian Science textbook, “Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures” by Mary Baker Eddy:' “The power of God brings deliverance to the captive. No power can withstand divine Love. If God destroys not sin, sickness, and death, they are not destroyed in the mind of mortals, but seem ^.o this so-called mind to be im ^nortal. What God cannot do, man need not attempt . . . for no les ser power equals the infinite All power: but God, Truth, Life, Love, does heal the sick through the prayer of the righteous” (Pages 224, 231).
