RECORDER'S COURT NEWS A. B. Williams, white, of Tillery, who was charged with driving while under the influence of in toxicating beverages was found not guilty. Daniel Pugh, colored, of Wel don* charged with larceny was found not guilty. Emma Arrington and Helen Bat tle, colored, of Scotland Neck, were each found guilty of affray and prayer for judgment continu ed upon payment of one-hailf the iS»*i fS&a tSinp - - costs and a fine of $20.00 each and upon further condition each remains of good behavior for two years. Sam Lashley, colored, was found guilty of reckless driving and was given 12 months roads to be sus pended upon payment of the costs and the sum of $300.00 for the use of Fred Woodberry, damages and injury sustained, and on further condition the defendant voluntar ily surrender his operators license for two years. Willie D. Wilkins, colored, was found guilty of operating a motor vehicle with improper license and guilty of failure to stop at scent of accident and prayer for judg ment continued upon payment of (Sfe S5i» tfi (5»=P I a fine of $25 and the costs. Joe Robertson, colored, of Lit tleton, was given three months on roads for assault on a female. Alvin Bryant, colored, of En field, was found guilty of driving while drunk and was fined $100 end costs. License revoked for 12 months. Jefro Harper, colored, of Enfield plead guilty to driving while drunk and was fined $50 and costs. Lic ense revoked for 12 months. Paul S. Williams, colored, of Scotland Neck, was found guilty of speeding and prayer for judg ment continued upon payment of the costs and on condition he vol untarily surrender his operator’s license for 60 days and on further condition he remain of good be havior for two yeaxs. Benjamin Sweat, colored, of Weldon, plead guilty to driving while drunk and was fined $50 and costs. License revoked for 12 months. In Memory In memory of my father, Samu el T.
