LOCAL BOARD
List of Registrants Subject to
Military Service.
HOT SPRINGS, SOUTH DAKOTA.
To THE EDITOR:
We beg to hand you herewith one copy of the names of par
ties subject to military service in Shannon, Washington, and Wash
abaugh Counties, together with their serial numbers, ranging from
681 to 718, also another list arranged in the order of draft. Acting
under instructions from our adjutant general, these registrants were
given serial numbers following numerically the serial numbers of this
county. The order of these, however, was fixed at the adjutant
general's office. For further information, we beg to advise you that
we have notified by mail the first eight persons on this list in the or
der of draft to appear here for physical examination. It is not, how
ever, certain at this time, nor is it likely that we will need all of
these eight men to fill our first quoto.
Yours truly,
(Signed) Ernest P. DeMoulin
Chairman Local Board for the County
of Fall River, State of South Dakota.
