Dr. A. .M Wigglesworth, for several
years Agency physician at Fort De
fiance, Arizona, and who resigned
there on December 31st, is now in the
Indian Office in Washington, in charge
of the Medical Division. He is suc
cessor to Dr. A. J. Wheeler, who has
been sent to Phoenix, as physician at
the East Farm Sanatorium.
R. C. Mackenstadt, a clerk at the
Flathead Indian Agency Montana, for
serveral years, has been promoted to
the place of Chief Clerk at Klamath
Miss Vernoa Leason, teacher of se
cond grade, ot Whiteriver, Arizona,
resigned about the middle of January.
Miss Leason's health has been failing
for the past three months.
Miss J. Fern Young teacher at Fort
Apache Boarding, School, Arizona,
left the Indian Service the last day of
February. She intends to take up her
abode in Chicago where she expects
to find more profitable employment
the Service has to offer.
Dr. B. H. Frayser, for the past two
and a half years agency phvsician at
Shiprock, has accepted a transfer to
the Apache Hospital, Dulce, N. M.
Mrs. Janetta Woodruff is now Field
Matron at Tucson, Arizona. She
formerly held this position on the
Colville Reservation, Washington.
Mrs. Shipley, wife of the mechanic,
has arrived from Crow Agency,
Montana, and has taken a position as
clerk in the office at Shiprock.
