Post Omen Briunixo, Hazlehurst, Miss,, Feb’y 2, 1870-28. T O S T, It is bn established fact that Qui nine or Cinchonidia will slop chills, and for this purpose there is no bet ter remedy. But it is also an estab lished fact that they do not remove the cause that produces chills. For sf they did, the chills would not re turn on the 7th, 14th, Hist or 28th day. Then is it not money lost to attempt to permanently cure the chills witiiQuiuine or Cinchonidia, ■when they do not remove Lire cause from the system that produces them? For until the cause is removed, the chills will return. The FERRIKE is warranted to remove every cause from the system that produces the chills, and if it fails to do this you will sustain no loss, for every drug gist is authorized to guarantee a permanent cure in every case, no matter ol how long standing, and will refund the money if the chills return after you are through taking. Pos itively, no cure, no pay. Try it and be convinced. It contains no poison, and is perfectly tastele-s. Sold by 8. P, Bloom i Co. Beauregard, and Oatis <fe Warrell, and E. C. This celebrated Watering Place is situated 145 miles north of New Orleans, and 40 miles gou'h of Jackson. Miss., and within five miles of the New Orleans, St. Louis. A Chicago Railroad, so that it is brought within 7 hours of New Orleans, and passengers leaving Memphis at 2 p. m. will breakfast at the Wells. For twenty years or more these Wells, without any other advertising than that af forded by the visitors themselves, have gradually extended their fame throughout Mississippi, Louisiana, and a greot portion of the South. Thc water of these Wells contain nearly every medical subftance of the most cele brated mineral waters of Enrepe and America, They contain every ingredient of the Vichy waters which are so celebrated for engorgemeut of the liver and s ileen and biliary concretions, diseases of the Kidney, flour albus, and chronic disfigurements of the skin, caused by diseased viscera. Dyspepsia, jn its various stages, with all its train of horrible nervous symptoms, constipation, acidity of the stomaclie, nausea, heartburn, disgust of food, sour eructa tious, fluttering at the h art, dimness of vision, fever and dull pain in the head, full ness of stomach after meals, have permanently and effectually been cured. All chronic diseases of the liver, enlarged spleen, jaundice, chronic diarrhoea, dysentary. dropsy, scrofula in all its forms, after having exhausted the best medical skill, have been compelled to yield to the curative powers of these waters, Diseases peculiar to females, such as spinal irritation, ameaonhoea. dysmenusr reoea, menorrhagia, in all its forms, and many others have been benefitted or cured. In diseases of the nervous system, such as nervous debility, neuralgia, hysteria, St \ itus Dance, hemipleg'a, epilepsy, catalepsy, flashes of light, ringing in the ears, perverted taste, premature decline, these waters have proved of great value. Chronic rheumatism has been permanently cured by the use of these waters. A careful analysis of these waters will satisfy thc most incredulous that all the above named diseases, with their symptom ', will be permanently cured or greatly ameliorated. According to the analysis of J R Chilton, of New York, professor of Chemistry, one quart of water of Well No. 1. contains: Free Sulphuric Acid, 10.22; Sulphate Lime, 24.40; Proto Sulphate It on, 9.13; Sulph Magnesia. 11.25; Sulph Soda, 4.44; Sulph Alumni. 2.10; Chloride Calcium 4.11; Organic matter, ?3. According to the analysis of George Little. State Oeologist, one quart of water of Well Fo. 2 contains; Sulphuret ol’bydrogen. Hydtogen Carbolic Acid, free, Carbonic of Lime, Carbonic of Magnesia, Carbonic of Iron, Sulphate Magnesia, Sulphate Alum na, Carbonic of Sodium, Sulphate of Soda, Magnesia a td Silicia, Some Organic Matter. Well No 3 hs not been analyzed. Ehe Proprietors will receive visitors at all seasons of the year. They would re spectfully warn visitors against the prevalont error, that of drinking copiously of the waters immediately upon their arrival. It is a Bafe rule under all the circumstanaes, to commence the use of the waters in small quantities; be still safer for invalids to consult skilled physicians, acquainted with the use of the waters. If you are determined to try these waters, give them a fair trial. Hundreds have been cured, and you may be too. Instances have beeu repeatedly witnessed of persons who. though at first were iy discouraged, have persisted in the use of the waters, and beeu finally resto o ealth q Eminent physicians here have certified that they have been using and prescribing the waters trod; Brown's Wells, for fifteen years, iu the diseases above named, with site | «***• - • Mat ch 8, 187D-2{», . Any person who takes a paper from the postoffice whether direc ted to his name or another, or whether he has subscribed or not, is re sponsible for the pay. 3. If a person orders his paper discontinued, lie must pay all arreara ges, or the publisher may continue to send it until the payment is made. 4.
