Clark of Kranbzurg who was recently accidentally shot with a 22 calibre rifle, is home from Rochester, Minn., where he went for treatment in the hospital. Lindner, two of Codintgon coun ty's prosperous farmers, were Wa tertown visitors last Wednesday and called at the Saturday News office and renewed their subscrip tions for another year. They got the trimmings with the paper. James Forter, formerly of this city but now residing in Minnea polis, is in the city shaking hands with his many friends. B. Williamson said after examining a copy of the new city and county directory: "That book is certainly a credit to the publisher. In fact, it is the most complete city and county directory I .have ever seen. It is worth many times the price asked for it." A. W. Ransom dropped into the Saturday News office and bought a new city and county directory and carefully examining the same said: "That is the best directory ever issued in this coun ty. You deserve much credit for issuing a work as accurate, and complete as this book." William Pearson of Watertown and Miss Emilp Nelson of Den ver, Col., were married in Denver December 5, at the home of the bride's parentB. No particular damage was done. Wm. Hackbert, one of the solid German farmers residing near South Shore, was in the city Wed nesday and called at the Saturday News.
