Brown & I Hawkins. “Quality First.” CONVENTION LIKELY TO COME TO FAIRBANKS FAIRBANKS- In a letter received ^ from the Democratic territorial com ; mitteemen of Nome, R. F. Roth, one of the membe^of the committee, was ! informed vesWday that the Seward , peninsula members are in favor of : holding the next territorial convention i in Fairbanks. Last year there was a ^ movement on foot to gi t the conven ( tion for Fairbanks, but it was impos* I sible to secure enough votes at the ; meeting of the territorial committee and it was given to Skagway. This year, with Nome lined up for i Fairbanks, and with the probability of securing at least two votes from 1 members of the First and Third divi ' sions, the chances of gearing the con vention to Fairbanks are brighter than ever.—Times.
