NINA’S COLUMN The Cher Ami Club of Bethel AME Church met at the home of Mrs. Frances Young, Lincoln Lane> Sunday at 5:00 p.m. Mrs. ftowlin the presiding officer car ried on a very interesting meet ing with her staff of officers. After which the hostess, your own columnist served refresh ments. Celebrates Birthday Little Pamela Mullins cele brated her fifth birthday in the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Mullins at 13442 Spaulding avenue. Those present were Master Alvivn Young, Kelly W. Nowlin, Jr., Julia Bouie, Sheryn Nowlin, Barbara Swan, Esther Arlene Mullins. Refreshments were served and really enjoyed. Many more hap py birthdays, Pamela. The Smart Socialites held their regular meeting with Mrs. Ruth 'Maxwll on Trumbull and 136th street/ The meeting was presided over by Mrs. Nelle Boyd. Manyi nteresting plans were made for the social March 11, 1955. After which the unique hostess served a five course dinner. It wasi ndeed delicious and greatly appreciated.
