Margo lis Monday night and Tuesday morning at the Center. The rabbi made a special address on the needs for aiding in the establish ment of a Jewish National Home land and the necessity for con tinuing the purchase of new land for Palestine. Rev. J. Robin, lo cal chairman of the J-N.F. com mittee. reported the collection of several hundred dollars for as i sistir.g in this campaign. Lawrence of Savannah have left for Washington and other points in the North. They will join Mrs. Bodziners sister. Mrs. Nathan Yoffie and family of Sikeston. Mo.. in Atlantic City and will later spend two weeks in New York city. Mrs. Ida B. Nathan of Savannah has left for Hattiesburg. Miss., where she will spend two weeks with friends and relatives. Mrs. A D. Kramer and Mrs. Harry Jaffe entertained Friday in the home of the latter in San Mar co with a desert bridge party hon oring Miss Roselyn Silverberg. bride-elect, whose marriage will be an event of August 25. Jewish Men’s Club Will Meet Tuesday The Jewish Mens Club will hold its regular meeting on Tues day night, August 20th at the Jacksonville Jewish Center. Silv er and Third Streets, it was an nounced by M. W. Goldstein, sec retary. A feature of the meeting will be a series of three minute de bates in which volunteers from the floor will participate. These extemporaneous talks have al ways been well received, and in teresting evening is planned. A short business session will start at 8:15 P. M.
