Dear Mr. Moscovitz:
I am writing to a number of
parents whose children received
the benefit of Camp Ramah in the
Poconos last year, in the hope
that they will want to help us in
a problem which we are facing at
this time.
As you may know, each year in
the past three years, we were
compelled to turn away hundreds
of wonderful children who want

Knowing what this meant to
the parents, the children, and to
Jewish Education, this has given
us much concern. We could not
increase the capacity of Camp

spot at East Hampton, Connecti

friends, we were able to put down
a deposit of $5000.00 and sign a
contract for the acquisition of the
camp.
Our problem is simple. The
camp costs $140,000.00 and re-

be paid over a long term of years.
We have no fears about paying
the balance in the course of the
years. However, we do need, at
once, $20,000.00 to complete our
down payment.
Will you join us in this under

With sincerest thanks and with
