ISRAEL GETS $9,000,000 FROM
U. S. AS PART OF
’ GRANT-IN-AID
WASHINGTON, CJTA) The
United States Government last
week-end turned over to Israel a
$9,000,000 check for the purchase
of food and materials. The
money is part of the Foreign
Operations Administration grant
in-aid to Israel for 1953-54. The
State Department has authorized
the allocation of $26,000,000 in aid
to Israel for the period ending
December 31, 1953.
