announced that after the first of
the year other Florida communi
ties which River Gai'den serves
will be visited by Sam Seigel and
Ben Yoffee to be brought the
story of Florida’s first Home for
the Aged. The film “Bless This
House” which is narrated by Ed
die Cantor will be shown at that
time.
A meeting open to the general
public was also held at Beauclerc
Thursday evening at which time
the response for funds was gen
erous and spontaneous.
Plans are under way to break
grounds for the infirmary build
ing early in 1955.

Adolfa Kruger of Fitzgerald
To Haskell Frostig
Is Announced
Os cordial interest is the an
nouncement by Mr. and Mrs. Abe
Kruger of Fitzgerald, of the en
gagement of their daughter, Miss
Adolfa Kruger, to Haskell Frostig
of Atlanta. The bride-elect is a
graduate of the Fitzgerald High
School and attended the Univer
sity of Georgia where she was
popular in many school activities.
She has one sister, Mrs. Ralph
Edwards of Tifton, and her only
brother is Reuben Kruger of Fitz
gerald.
The bride elect’s father is well
known as a civic worker and a
prominent merchant in the com
munity. Her mother is the former
Helen Witcovar of Marion, S. C.
The wedding will be a beautiful
event taking place in Fitzgerald
in the early Spring.

from a meeting of the executive
committee of the World ORT
Union at Geneva.
The meeting also adopted plans
to extend the ORT program in Is
rael and heard reports from ex
ploratory, missions to Turkey con
cerning prospects for establishing
ORT schools there and of in
creasing the local community’s
financial support.
