May 28, Nellie, wife of James Libby, Esq., was released from years of patient suffering. She leaves a husband, one son and two daughters. Services were held at her late home Monday, May 31, Rev. Wm. Berriman officiating. Among the many attending the services from out of town were the sons of the late J. C. Libby, Howard of Burnham, Mr. and Mrs. C. E., Mr. and Mrs. F. L. and Prof. Herbert C. Libby, all of Waterville. The burial was in Pond Cemetery in Unity. No one could wish her back, but all who knew her deeply sorrow at her death. All the years of suffering could not change the sweet, pleasant disposition that from early childhood had made her a friend to all. To her pupils she was the favorite teacher, no other to them so beautiful and kind. When blind and suf fering she did not complain, spoke of her many blessings and the comforts, of the untiring care and devotion of her friends. We thought, while in her presence, if all were like her, what a happy world this might be. To old neighbors and friends who knew her from childhood she leaves precious memories. “We cannot buy with gold the old asso ciations.” Children Cry FOR FLETCHER’S C ASTOR!
