i i JDr*___— | Navy Mother's Club To Hold Meet Tuesday ’ The Cape Fear Mother's club will hold the business meeting of the month at 3:30 o clock Tues dav afternoon in the Sorosis club house on North Third street. The feature of the program will be the installation of officers, w/io will replace temporary ones elect ed in September when the local unit of the national organization had its initial meeting. Chief Petty Officer Brown of the Wilmington Recruiting station, who was assisted ai the time by Mrs. J. N. Flannery graduated from e Corning Free Academy and prior to his enlistment in the Marine Corps in 1941 was employed by the Corning Glass Works. He has served in Panama and the South Pacific. Mrs. Flannery is a grad uate of Hornell High school and attended Bennett School in Buf falo. Washburn Mr. and Mrs. Earle Eugene Gray, Sr., of Wrightsville Beach, announce the marriage of their daughter, Lieut. Mary Humber Gray, Army Nurse Corps, to Cpl. Dedric Charles Jetmar of Long Is land, N. Y. Lieut. Gray graduated from Mc Leod Infirmary, Florence, S. C., and joined the Army Air Forces in February 1944. Prior to entering the Army Air Forces in 1941 Cpl. The improvised altar was bankec with white chrysanthemums an< white tapers in candelabra. A pro gram of nuptial music was ren dered by Mrs. Jerry Holmes. The bride, given in marriage bj her father, wore a dress of aqu< wool with a fur neckpiece of mini and brown accessories and a cor sage of pink rosebuds. Mrs. Vernon Arthur Tierney, sis ter of the bride, was matron-of honor and Walter B. Frysinger USCG. was best man.
