weekend were declared highly
successful by the sponsors today.

Police On Lookout
For Stolen Truck
City, County and State police
were alerted yesterday to be on
the lookout for a 1937 Ford truck
which was stolen about 2 o’clock
Sunday morning from the resi
dence of R. t> White, Shallotte.
The theft was reported at 2:45
p. m., yesterday at which time
officers were told that the soldier
[who is suspected of stealing the
vehicle was traveling to Florida.
The soldier’s name was not given.
