A number of early favorites failed to hold, and slow downward drift ensu-. ed, picking up enough speed in the final minutes to leave a large selecti in of pivotal issues at their lows for the day The Associated Press 60-Stock Composite dipped .5 of a point to 63.8. equalling its low since Sept. 26. Of 1,043 stocks registering in the broadest market since Nov. 5, there were 618 losers and 188 on the upside. . Commission houses said doubts over Congress’ anti-inflation moves and foreign developments continued to unsettle customers sentiment.
