Ehrlich of St. Louis, Mo. Dr. S. N. Deinard leaves Saturday even ing for Davenport, Iowa, where he will deliver a lecture at the Temple of the Jewish Reform Congregation, Sunday evening. Miss Gertrude Kulberg, who is teaching school in St. Peter, Minn., will spend the week end with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. I. Kulberg, 1819 10th Ave. S. Mrs. M. Wain of Chisholm, Minn., is the guest of her sister, Mrs. .losiah Brill, 4-"41 Xerxes ave. S. Miss Anna Garber and Mr. Dan Gar ber, 1712 Park ave., left Tuesday, Feb. 1st, to spend the remainder of the winter in Los Angeles and San Diego, Cal. They will return about April 1st. Mr. Sam Herscovitz and Mr. Chas. Con ner, of 1120 Knox ave. N., and Mr. Louis Herscovitz, 500 Humboldt ave. N., left for an extended trip through the South. They will return about March 1st. Mrs. S. Marks, who has been visiting her mother, Mrs. A. Gruenberg, 615 E. 17th, returned to her home in Des Moines, Iowa, Monday, .Ian. .'{1st. Mr. Herman S. Koff, of Elgin, S. D., is visiting his parents, Mr. and Mrs. M. Koff, Eleventh ave. N. He will attend the wee ding of his sister Leah to Mr. Louis S. Pinck, Sunday Feb. 20th. Mr. and Mrs. L. S. Loeb are at the Rad isson enroute to Duluth. Entertain ng. Mrs. Leo Strouse, 3027 Humboldt ave. S, entertained informally at luncheon, Wednesday. Miss Jessie Kulberg will entertain at a hosiery shower in honor of Miss Pearl Wolfson, a bride of this month, on Sun day, Feb. 6th. Cards will be played. Miss Minnie Helstein, .'{015 2.[)th ave. S., entertained a group of University students at a beautifully appointed dinner, Sunday night. Covers were laid for eight. Rev. and Mrs. M. B. Heiman, 1827 14th ave. S., entertained Sunday evening, Jan. .'{(), in honor of their son, Samuel J., a January graduate of South High School. Covers were laid for forty guests. The dance given by the Council of Jew ish Women at the Radisson Roof Garden, Tuesday, Feb. 1st, was well attended by members and friends of the organization, representing all sections of the commun ity.
