Auxiliary Meeting Wednesday, De cember 14th The next meeting of the Ladies' Auxiliary of the Talmud Torah will take place on Wednesday, December 14, at the Talmud Torah Auditorium at 2:30 p. m. The dance committee will give a report. The program will consist of a talk by Adeline Rodd on "Proper Reading of Books for the Growing Child." The hostesses for the social hour will be Mrs. A. S. The annual election for officers of Minneapolis Lodge, I. O. B. B. No. 271, will take place at the meeting to be held at the Gold Room of the Radisson Hotel on Wednesday evening, Decem ber 14. There are several spirited contests and it is expected there will be a large turnout of the members. There mil also be a musical program. LUNCHEON FOR RUSSIAN RELIEF The Women's Department of the Minnesota Russian Relief Committee are arranging a luncheon for the pur pose of assisting famine stricken Rus sia. It will be held at the Curtis Ho tel, Saturday, December 17, 12:30. A starvation lunch will be served, con sisting of a bowl of soup and brown bread. An elaborate program of Rus sian music, dancing, exhibits, and sev eral novel features has been planned. The chief attraction will be Miss Anna Haines, who has just returned from Russia, who will give first hand information on conditions as they ex ist today. Tickets are $1.00 each.
