JUNIOR HEBREW CO-OPERATIVE ELECTS Election of permanent officers and adoption of a constitution for the Junior Hebrew Co-operative associa tion were the outstanding features of the meeting of delegates from thir teen clubs held at the Temple of Aaron, Sunday afternoon, May 7th. William Serbine was elected presi dent Joseph Horwitz, vice president Miss Ilene Golden, secretary Jack B. Makiesky, treasurer and Jack Calof, sergeant-at-arms. Representatives of the thirteen clubs will meet at 2:00 p. m. Sunday, June 4th, at the Temple of Aaron, to outline a definite plan for the development of the association. The new organization, composed of young men and women, is expected to devise some means for the raising of a building fund at the next meeting. Appointment of the various commit* tees, including judiciary, entertain ment and publicity, will be announced by the president at the June 4th meeting. Jack Makiesky was named temporary publicity chairman. Climbers' Club to Meet The Climbers' Club will hold a semi-monthly meeting at the home of Miss Sophie Herskovitz, 247 East University avenue, Sunday, May 14th. MRS. KOLINSKY HEADS HEBREW INSTITUTE AUXILIARY The Ladies' Auxiliary of the S& Paul Hebrew Institute gave a "Fare well" surprise for its president, Mrs. M. Kirsner, who left the city to make her home in Monticello, Minn. She was presented with a silver sandwich tray. Mrs. L. Kollinsky was elected president to take her place, and Mrs. S. E. Smith, vice president. The Auxiliary will give a Lag B'Omer card party Tuesday afternoon, May 16th, at 2:00 p. m., at the Institute, Kentucky and Fenton streets. L'Allegro Club Entertained The Misses Edith Baker and Bess Orenstein entertained for the mem bers of the L'Allegro Club, May 7th, at the home of Miss Edith Baker, 208 East 14th street. Those present were the Misses Esther Horovitz, Rose Fredgant, Clara Shapiro, Bess Calof, Rose Sclaure, Josephine Nahinsky, Adelaide Cohn, Eleanore Herman, Daisy Lusson, Bess Orenstein and Edith Baker.
